Camp Shakespeare 2019

Camp Shakespeare fosters an appreciation for the works and words of William Shakespeare by providing opportunities for students aged 5 – 18 to explore theatre through imaginative play, movement, stage combat, storytelling, design, text analysis, and more!

Camp Shakespeare Jr. (Half Day)

Ages 5-8
June 3 – 7 or June 10 – 14
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Fee: $175

Our youngest Shakespearean scholars receive an introduction to theatre through dramatic play and games.

Camp Shakespeare Jr. (Full Day)

Build your skills as an actor through an exploration of one of Shakespeare’s comedies.

2-Week Camp Shakespeare

Ages 9-12

In this extended two-week camp, students will delve deeper into Shakespeare’s text and perform a small-scale production of one of Shakespeare’s comedies.

Camp Shakespeare Extreme

Ages 13-18
When: June 3 – 7 or June 10 – 14

This camp is perfect for older students interested in continuing scene work, character creation, text analysis, and more!

All camps are from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. CST unless noted otherwise (i.e half-day camps). 

Broadway South 2019

Broadway South builds young actors into triple threats through lessons in voice, dance, song interpretation, and acting. A final showcase will feature students in small and large group ensemble numbers and encourage students to build skills they’ll take into the future.

Broadway South Jr. Musical Theatre Camp

Ages 10-13

Broadway South Musical Theatre Camp

Ages 14-18

Fee: $325

Act, sing and dance your way through this one-week camp that concludes with small and large ensemble performances on our Festival Stage!

Financial aid is available for students residing in Autauga, Elmore, Lowndes, Macon, and Montgomery counties. Scholarships will be granted to those families who demonstrate strong financial need and who would be otherwise unable to participate in our camps. Applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis and are limited in availability.
