KEN LUDWIG’S
DEAR JACK, DEAR LOUISE
SEP 26–OCT 13, 2024
Octagon Stage | Recommended Ages 10
Run time: approximately 2 hours, including a 15-minute intermission
When two strangers meet by letter during World War II, a love story begins. U.S. Army Captain Jack Ludwig, a military doctor stationed in Oregon, and Louise Rabiner, an aspiring actress and dancer in New York City, meet by letter. They hope to meet in person someday. But the war threatens to keep them apart.
Two-time Olivier Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig tells the joyous, heart-warming story of his parents’ courtship during World War II, and the results are anything but expected.
