You’re invited to join the Zollicoffer Cooke family picnic. Traveling from Harlem, NY, to Littleton, NC, they’re stopping at ASF … right between where they’ve been and where they’re going. It’s 1955, and knowing they were unlikely to be served by eateries along the way, the family loaded their (now classic) cars with a feast packed in shoeboxes lined with tin foil. Come together over family and food — who made it, whose recipe they followed. You’ll share in the Zollicoffer Cook family’s repast with your own shoebox picnic in this immersive outdoor production.Immerse yourself in their journey and picnic with them from your own shoebox packed with Southern fried chicken, potatoe salad, biscuits, and tasty golden cake.
