Dr. Susan Willis (Dramaturg,
Macbeth) has
served as ASF dramaturg since 1985 as well as implementing Theatre in the Mind
and teaching in the MFA program. She has also directed
Richard III in
the Wars of the Roses and
Fair and Tender Ladies in 2007, the 2005
The Taming of the Shrew, the 2004
Steel Magnolias, the
premieres of
The Moving of Lilla Barton and
Fair and Tender Ladies
(and its 2000 nine-state tour) as well as Graduate Acting Company
productions and SWP readings. Outside the theatre, she is Professor of English
at Auburn University Montgomery and author of
The BBC Shakespeare: Making
the Televised Canon.
