Brett Rominger (Musical Researcher) has worn many hats at
ASF - musician, musical director, sound designer and composer. He has composed
soundtracks for numersous shows including The Furniture of Home,
Blood Divided (both ASF world premieres) King Lear (The
Hillberry Theatre), Angels in America, Ride Down Mt. Morgan,
Talking with and Of Mice and Men (Meadow Brook Theatre). He
has been seen onstage in several shows including three here at ASF, Rocket
City, Nobody and Beehive. Muical direction credits
include The Rocky Horror Show, The Fantasticks (Meadow Brook
Theatre), Side by Side by Sondheim (BoarsHead Theatre), It Ain't
Nothin' But the Blues (Detroit Music Hall) - all winners of Detroit
critics' awards for Best Performance - Rocket City, Nobody
and Gee's Bend (ASF). He has designed sound for over 150 productions in
theatres across the country - notable ones include The Wars of the
Roses, Thinking of You, The Fall of the House,
Julius Caesar and the hugely successful Bear Country.
